Every item on your checklist has a status that tells you where things stand. Here is what each one means.

Missing

No file has been uploaded for this item yet. If the item is marked Mandatory, it must be addressed before your application is complete. Non-mandatory items are optional but can strengthen your case.

Uploaded

You have attached at least one file to this checklist item. The document has been received and OCR has been or is being run on it. The item is not yet verified but it is no longer empty.

Verified

The document has been reviewed and confirmed as valid. This status is typically set by MigraIQ after OCR extraction confirms the document meets the expected format and content requirements.

Waived

This document has been officially waived for your application. This can happen in specific circumstances where a requirement is conditionally not needed. If you believe a document should be waived for your situation, contact MigraIQ support.

Not Applicable

This item was included in the initial checklist but does not apply to your situation based on your intake answers. For example, a question about a spouse's passport would be marked Not Applicable if you indicated you are single.

What if a mandatory item stays on Missing?

If you cannot obtain a required document, do not leave it blank. Include a signed explanation letter stating why the document is unavailable and what alternative evidence you are providing. Some officers will accept a reasonable explanation; others will not. The key is to proactively address the gap rather than ignore it.
