About
About MigraIQ
MigraIQ is a privacy-first AI platform that helps visa applicants review their own applications before submission. Built for individuals, families, and immigration agencies, MigraIQ analyses a case against the requirements of the target visa program and returns a structured Readiness Report: a scored breakdown of financial evidence, home country ties, trip purpose clarity, and document completeness — with plain-English explanations of where the application may be weak.
The platform supports visa programs across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Schengen Area, and Australia, covering visitor, student, and work-based routes.
MigraIQ is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. It is a self-assessment tool — one that helps applicants understand their own case more clearly before they walk into the process blind.
The platform was founded in 2026 and is headquartered in Ottawa, Canada.
MigraIQ's core belief is simple: preparation should not be a privilege.

Founder
Wale Oshinowo
Founder, MigraIQ · Ottawa, Canada
Wale Oshinowo is the founder and builder of MigraIQ, an AI-powered visa readiness platform headquartered in Ottawa, Canada. With a background spanning software engineering, product design, accessibility, and AI-assisted workflows, Wale has spent his career building digital tools that help people navigate complex, high-stakes processes with more clarity and confidence.
The idea for MigraIQ came from direct personal experience: preparing a visa application and feeling the weight of not knowing whether what he had put together was actually enough. That feeling — shared by millions of applicants worldwide — became the product. Wale built MigraIQ to ensure that the quality of a person's visa preparation is determined by their effort, not their budget.
Founding story
What did I miss?
That is the question Wale Oshinowo could not stop thinking about after preparing his own visa application. The documents were there. The forms were filled. The fees were paid. And yet the feeling going into submission was not confidence — it was uncertainty.
Visa applications are not just forms. For many people, they are the entry point to a new chapter: a university place, a job opportunity, a visit to family, a new life in a new country. The stakes are high. The requirements are long and often ambiguous. And the feedback you receive after a refusal — if any — is rarely specific enough to know what actually went wrong.
Wale had spent years building digital platforms across commerce, experimentation, accessibility, and workflow-heavy products. He understood what it meant to design for users in high-stakes, document-heavy environments. And he could see the gap clearly: applicants who could afford immigration lawyers or consultants had someone reviewing their case, flagging weak points, and coaching their narrative before submission. Everyone else was applying and hoping.
That asymmetry became the starting point for MigraIQ.
The platform was built around a single question: what if every applicant — regardless of budget or background — could get the kind of structured pre-submission review that was previously available only to those who could pay for it?
MigraIQ is the answer Wale built for that question. It is structured, practical, and honest. It does not promise approval. It does not replace legal advice. What it does is help applicants slow down before submission, see their application more clearly, and understand where the weak points are — before those weak points become a refusal letter.
The name MigraIQ reflects that intent: migration intelligence, applied practically, for the people who need it most.
