How to cancel or change your plan
Step-by-step instructions for upgrading, downgrading, or cancelling your MigraIQ subscription.
Upgrading your plan
- Go to Settings in the sidebar.
- Click the Plans tab.
- Find the plan you want to upgrade to and click the relevant button (for example, "Start Pro").
- You will be taken to the Stripe checkout page to complete payment.
- Your new plan activates immediately after payment.
When upgrading mid-billing-cycle, you are only charged the prorated difference for the remaining days in the cycle.
Downgrading your plan
- Go to Settings and open the Billing tab.
- Click Manage subscription to open the Stripe billing portal.
- In the portal, select the plan you want to downgrade to.
- The downgrade takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your current plan benefits until then.
Cancelling your subscription
- Go to Settings and open the Billing tab.
- Click Cancel plan.
- Confirm the cancellation.
Your subscription will not renew at the end of the current billing period. You keep full access to your current plan until the period ends. After cancellation, your account moves to the Free plan.
Important: Cancelling does not delete your cases, documents, or reports. Your data remains accessible under the Free plan limitations. If you had an Essential plan with a 90-day report expiry, the expiry countdown continues after cancellation.
What happens to my data when I cancel?
Your cases, documents, and any generated reports or packs remain in your account. However, on the Free plan you are limited to 1 active case. If you had multiple active cases on Pro or Agency, you will not be able to create new cases until you are below the Free plan limit. You can still view your existing cases.
Getting a refund
MigraIQ does not offer refunds on one-time Essential purchases once the report has been generated. For subscription plans, please contact support@migraiq.com within 7 days of your charge if you believe you were billed in error.
