How to update your profile and account details

How to change your name, email, avatar, and connected accounts.

Your profile settings live in Settings under the Profile tab. Here is what you can update and how.

Name and profile photo

  1. Go to Settings and open the Profile tab.
  2. Click on your avatar to upload a new photo. Accepted formats: JPEG, PNG, GIF, and WebP.
  3. Update your first and last name in the name fields.
  4. Click Save to apply the changes.

Email address

  1. In the Profile tab, scroll to the Email address section.
  2. Click Add email address to add a new email, or click on your current email to update it.
  3. A verification email will be sent to the new address. Click the link in that email to confirm the change.

Password

  1. Scroll to the Password section in the Profile tab.
  2. Enter your current password and then your new password (minimum 8 characters).
  3. Click Change password.

If you signed up with a social login (Google, Apple, and so on) and never set a password, you can add one here.

Connected accounts

The Connected accounts section shows which social login providers (Google, Apple, Microsoft, GitHub, Facebook, LinkedIn) are linked to your MigraIQ account. You can disconnect providers you no longer use, as long as you have another way to log in (either a password or another connected provider).

Deleting your account

Account deletion is handled in the Danger Zone section at the bottom of the Profile tab. Deleting your account is permanent and removes all your cases, documents, and reports. This action cannot be undone. If you want to keep your data, export it first (see the Data and Privacy settings).
