Your data, privacy settings, and how to export your information
What data MigraIQ stores, your privacy controls, and how to request an export.
MigraIQ takes data privacy seriously. Here is an overview of your privacy controls and what data is held on your account.
What data MigraIQ stores
- Your profile information (name, email, avatar)
- Your case data (intake answers, checklist responses)
- Your uploaded documents (stored in encrypted cloud storage)
- OCR-extracted text and entities from your documents
- Your generated reports and document packs
- Sign-in events and last active timestamps
Privacy controls in Settings
Go to Settings and open the Data and Privacy tab.
Analytics
Toggle usage analytics on or off. When enabled, MigraIQ collects anonymized usage events (such as "case created" and "report generated") to understand how the product is used. No document content is included in analytics events.
Crash reports
Toggle error reporting on or off. When enabled, technical errors are automatically reported to help MigraIQ identify and fix bugs.
Exporting your data
- Go to Settings and open the Data and Privacy tab.
- Click Export my data.
- A data export will be prepared and emailed to your registered email address.
The export includes your profile information and case metadata. It does not include the full content of uploaded files (which are available for download directly from each case).
Two-factor authentication
For extra account security, MigraIQ supports two-factor authentication. To set it up:
- Go to Settings and open the Data and Privacy tab.
- Click Set up two-factor authentication.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to link an authenticator app.
Deleting your account
Account deletion permanently removes all your data. To delete your account, go to Settings, open the Profile tab, and scroll to the Danger Zone section. You will be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.
If you have an active paid subscription, cancel it first before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
