We've added support for the US F-1 Student Visa. Starting today, applicants preparing for their F-1 consulate interview can use MigraIQ to review their application across the specific dimensions officers assess.

What the F-1 Case Covers

The F-1 intake covers seven sections: identity, academic programme details, financial evidence, academic background, US immigration history, home country ties, and study purpose. The questions are structured around what consular officers actually evaluate, not a generic document checklist.

After completing intake and uploading documents, MigraIQ generates a readiness report with three F-1-specific sections:

Financial sufficiency analysis. Your I-20 states an estimated cost of attendance. The report calculates whether your documented funds meet that threshold across the full programme duration, not just year one. It also checks the funding source for patterns that commonly raise questions at interview.

Non-immigrant intent assessment. The study plan and home ties responses are reviewed against the 214(b) non-immigrant intent standard. The report identifies gaps in the intent narrative and gives specific actions to strengthen it before the interview.

Academic coherence and study plan review. The report assesses whether the programme choice connects logically to your stated academic background and post-graduation career plan.

The Document Pack

The Application Support Pack for F-1 cases includes interview preparation notes tailored to your intake answers. These cover the questions most commonly asked at F-1 interviews, framed around your specific profile rather than generic advice.

The pack also includes the standard components: cover letter framework, evidence index, and document-by-document guidance.

How to Get Started

Create a new case, select "US F-1 Student Visa" as the programme, and complete the intake. The case type is available on all paid plans.

If you have questions about F-1 preparation, see our US F-1 Student Visa guide for an overview of what officers assess and the most common reasons applications are refused.
